The terminal operates to provide a high level of convenience and comfort, with amenities such as lounges, VVIP Room, private check-in areas, and exclusive transportation. The VIP Terminal in Baghdad was built as part of the airport's modernisation program, which began early in the 2000s. It is one of several VIP terminals at airports around the world, designed to cater to the needs of travellers looking for privacy, luxury, and leisure.
